The story of firing in Australia in the words of eyewitnesses.
Jagran News Network, New Delhi. Eyewitnesses have described the attack on Sydney's Bondi Beach in Australia. A passerby enjoying a drink on a popular Sydney beach said he initially thought the gunshots were firecrackers.
"We were having a normal Sunday and what we heard sounded like firecrackers," he told 9News. An eyewitness said: "The beach was completely packed. Then a lot of firecrackers started going off. Then suddenly we saw that thousands of people were running. So we all went inside, hid in the toilets. We stayed there for maybe 20 minutes, then came out. Then we saw thousands of people again running towards us on the road, so we hid again and locked ourselves in.”
'Run, it's a gun'
