Patliputra Intercity Express gets new stoppage, wave of happiness among railway passengers
Samvad Sutra, Bhairoganj. Monday proved to be historic in the direction of development and public facilities of Kharpokhara area. Fulfilling the long standing demand of the local people, the stoppage of Patliputra Intercity Express has now been confirmed at Kharpokhara Railway Station.
This decision has created a wave of happiness in the entire area. Villagers, traders and travelers have called it a big step towards the development of the area.
During the elections, Union Coal and Mining Minister Satish Chandra Dubey had promised the public about the stoppage of this train during his visit to Kharpokhara area. Now, on fulfillment of his promise, people have expressed gratitude towards the minister.
With the stoppage of this train, students, patients, working people and businessmen will no longer have to depend on other big stations to go to Patna (Patliputra). Earlier, passengers had to travel to other stations by auto or private vehicles, which resulted in wastage of both time and money.
Now people will get direct benefit from this facility. Local leaders and citizens welcomed the train driver and guard and thanked the Railway Ministry. Bagaha MLA Ram Singh flagged off the Patliputra Intercity Express in the down line at 1:20 pm on Monday night.
Dozens of villagers and dignitaries including Station Superintendent Ashok Dev, former head Diwakar Chaudhary, Shambhu Yadav, Sudhir Mishra, Satyendra Tiwari, Raju Yadav, Harendra Singh, Amresh Jaiswal, Kalam Ansari, Sanjeev Tiwari were present on the occasion.
