Patna-Dehri Haat Will Be Built On The Lines Of Delhi-Mithila Haat, Culture Of Bhojpur Will Be Visible; You Will Get The Taste Of Litti-Chokha

State Bureau, Patna. On the lines of Delhi and Mithila Haat, construction of the proposed Haat in Dehri of Patna and Rohtas has been started. Magadha's folk culture will be seen in Patna Haat being built near Gandhi Maidan and Bhojpur's folk culture will be seen in Dehri Haat. Stalls promoting local folk arts, food etc. will be set up in both these markets. Both projects are targeted to be completed by next year.

According to the Tourism Department, a place has been identified in front of Golghar for Patna Haat near Gandhi Maidan in the capital. An order has been issued to demolish the old octagonal building here. The old building will be demolished and new construction work will be done there. For this, a scheme worth Rs 48.96 crore has been approved, in which an amount of Rs 10 crore has also been released in the first phase.

Patna Haat will have a three-storey emporium, two restaurants, game zone for children and youth, fire fighting system and fire alarm, lift, CCTV surveillance etc. There will also be underground and surface parking facilities for tourists.

At the same time, the work of construction of haat has also started near Indrapuri Barrage in Dehri of Rohtas. The construction of this haat is estimated to cost Rs 27.52 crore, for which an amount of Rs 10 crore has been given in the first phase.

About ten acres of land has been allotted for the haat. There will also be a restaurant in this market where local food Litti-Chokha can be tasted. Guest house and eco-friendly cottage will also be built. There will also be arrangements for parks and boating for children.
