Many employees of the BDO office were also injured in the attack by the protesters. The protesters say that earlier they were asked to provide documents on the basis of the voter list of 2002, why is the hearing being held again.

BDO office vandalized, papers burnt

Many people are not educated, they do not have school certificates. From where will he bring the documents? The elderly will find it difficult to attend the hearing.

Police have said that some people have been detained for questioning. BDO has lodged an FIR in Chakulia police station regarding vandalism and attack.

Its copy has also been given to DM North Dinajpur and SP and SDO of Islampur. Along with the FIR, CCTV footage has also been handed over to the police.
