A sensational incident of setting fire by spraying petrol has come to light in the dispute between JMM leader Madan Ram and MP Dhullu Mahato supporter Utsav Ram. Three people suffered serious burn injuries in this incident, who have been admitted to Patliputra Hospital for treatment. Among the injured, the condition of Utsav Ram is said to be critical. According to the information, the dispute started during shopping at a shop located in the market, which soon turned into a fight. It is alleged that during the dispute, petrol was sprinkled and fire was set with the intention of killing. Utsav Ram, his brother Ankit Ram and friend Vinay Gupta got badly burnt in the fire. Vinay Gupta also got seriously injured while trying to extinguish the fire. There is an atmosphere of tension in the area after the incident. All three parties have lodged separate written complaints regarding the matter at Jorapokhar police station. The statements of all the parties are different from each other, due to which the matter has become even more complicated. According to the police, Madan Ram, Utsav Ram and Ankit Ram are relatives and there have been several incidents of fighting between them over property dispute. This time the old rivalry turned into a deadly attack. Jodapokhar police station in-charge Uday Kumar Gupta said that a complaint about the incident has been received and the matter is being investigated. After completion of investigation, appropriate legal action will be taken against the culprits.
