Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath addressing a public meeting in Meerut
Jagran correspondent, Meerut. Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday launched the Regional Rapid Transit System (RRTS) i.e. Namo Rapid Train and Metro service (Meerut Metro). This is a big and double gift for the rail traffic of Meerut. In the public meeting organized on this occasion, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that the Prime Minister is the architect of the new and modern India. New India is moving forward rapidly.
CM Yogi Adityanath said that today, on behalf of the people of Meerut and the 25 crore people of Uttar Pradesh, I welcome Prime Minister Narendra Modi in this sacred Krantidhara of Baba Aughadnath, Meerut. This is a moment of extreme excitement for all of us.
Said that the Prime Minister has also given the gift of semi-speed Namo Bharat and metro before Holi. Said that 11 years ago the distance from Meerut to Delhi used to be a challenge. One had to work hard for four to five hours. People used to sit considering Delhi as far away. Now Meerut is connected to Delhi through highways and expressways. It takes 45 minutes. The gift given by the Prime Minister is reducing this distance even further.

CM said that on Saturday itself the Prime Minister has inaugurated the foundation stone of a new semi-conductor plant in Gautam Buddha Nagar district. Keeping in view the challenges of the coming times, the new India is moving ahead rapidly. We all are becoming witnesses of this. Said that our Prime Minister is the architect of new India, modern India.

CM said that it was the PM who had laid the foundation stone of Sports University in Meerut. Now it is about to be ready. Sports products are manufactured in Meerut. Airport is ready in Jewar.
