Digital Desk, New Delhi. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is likely to attend the 129th birth anniversary celebrations of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose in Andaman and Nicobar Islands on January 23.
During his visit, the Prime Minister is expected to hoist the national flag and deliver a public speech at the Netaji Stadium, where Subhash Chandra Bose hoisted the tricolor on December 30, 1943, officials said.
Government celebrates Netaji's birth anniversary as Valor Day
The Central Government has been celebrating Netaji's birth anniversary as Valor Day, to honor his selfless service towards the nation. PM Modi is also likely to pay floral tributes at the statue of Netaji at Marina Park.

"The Prime Minister is likely to visit Cellular Jail to pay floral tributes at the Martyrs' Pillar in Sri Vijayapuram and pay tribute to Veer Savarkar," the official said. He further said that the Prime Minister may also visit Campbell Bay to inspect the development projects there.
