Digital Desk, New Delhi. The country is going to get the first Vande Bharat sleeper train. Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the first Vande Bharat sleeper train on January 17. This train will run between Kolkata and Guwahati.

Along with the launch of Vande Bharat Sleeper train, six new Amrit Bharat Express are also being launched. The services of these trains will start available for passengers from 17th and 18th January.

Prime Minister Modi will flag off the country's first Vande Bharat sleeper train from Malda Town in West Bengal on January 17. This train will run between Kamakhya and Howrah Junction 6 days a week. 6 new Amrit Bharat Express is also being started for the passengers.

In the Ati Vishisht Railway Service Awards ceremony held in Delhi, Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav said that many major reforms are going to take place in the Indian Railways in the year 2026. Keeping in mind the safety of passengers, new methods and technology will be used.

The Railway Minister further said that this year, 52 reforms will be introduced in 52 weeks, so that a new look of Indian Railways can be seen in the coming days.

A new structural approach will be introduced for technology and innovation in trains. For this, AI will also be used on a large scale.
