PMCH: Double-decker Flyover And Connectivity With JP Ganga Path; Big News For Patients And Citizens

Jagran correspondent, Patna. District Magistrate Dr. Thyagarajan S.M. On Saturday, he visited various areas of Patna City subdivision and inspected the site of the ongoing developmental schemes.

During this, he directed the engineers and concerned officials to speed up the works and complete the schemes in a quality manner within the stipulated time frame.

DM said that keeping in mind the convenience of the patients, PMCH is being connected to JP Ganga Path and double-decker flyover.

Additionally, three Multi-Level Car Parking (MLCP) constructed by BMSICL will further strengthen the connectivity of PMCH, thereby enhancing the ease of movement of patients and doctors.

DM inspected development plans in Patna City

The District Magistrate said that Patna City is an important place not only for the local citizens but also for the national and international tourists and Sikh devotees. The announcements made by the Chief Minister in the Pragati Yatra are being worked on rapidly, which was reviewed on Saturday.

During the inspection, the DM also took stock of the new four-lane road being built from Bhadra Ghat to Didarganj. This road is being built by BSRDCL parallel to JP Ganga Path for about eight kilometers in length.

Its completion will ease traffic in Patna City and surrounding areas including Marufganj Mandi and reduce traffic pressure on Ashok Rajpath.

Apart from this, the work of widening and strengthening of the old Ganga path till Gaighat-Kangan Ghat-Didarganj is also going on at a fast pace by the Road Construction Department.

The DM said that the double-decker flyover built from Kargil Chowk to Patna University has brought a lot of relief to the traffic.

JP Ganga Path has been connected to Ashok Rajpath by building a link road at Krishna Ghat, which is benefiting students, competitive examinees, patients and common citizens.

The District Magistrate also said that the district administration is committed to effective implementation of developmental and public welfare schemes.

Encroachment eradication campaign is being carried out regularly and metro construction work is also progressing rapidly. A strong monitoring system of the schemes has been developed and the works are being expedited through inter-departmental coordination.
