Police Alert After CM Yogi's Strictness, Campaign Will Be Run Against Chinese Manjha

Jagran correspondent, Shahjahanpur. The Chief Minister is strict regarding Chinese Manja. He has given instructions to register a case of murder in case of death due to this banned manja. After which the police has also been alerted. In fact, within a year, two people, including a constable, have lost their lives in the district.

While many people have also been injured. Ravi Sharma, resident of Nagla Jaju, Kant, was a mason. On Bhaiya Dooj, wife Moni had to go to Shankarpur village in Mohammadi, her maternal home in Kheri. As soon as Ravi reached the road after crossing Handa Colony underpass in Roja area, the Chinese manjha tied to the kite flying there got stuck in Ravi's neck, due to which he died.

On January 9, 2025, constable Shahrukh Hasan had his throat slit with a Chinese manjha in Azizganj of the city, due to which he died. The administration launched a campaign after these incidents.

Also monitored through drones but remained silent after a few days. Now the Chief Minister has given instructions to take action under the section of murder if someone's life is lost due to Chinese boat. After which the district police has also become alert.

SP Rajesh Dwivedi said that action will be taken by running a campaign. All police station heads have been directed for this. Government advocate Ashish Tripathi said that Chinese Manja is banned. If even after that someone uses it and human harm occurs, then action should be taken against him under the section of murder only. The law also says this.
