The vicious person has been injured by a bullet in his leg. A pistol, cartridges and an unnumbered bike have been recovered from his possession.
CO Govardhan Anil Kumar said that during checking at 11.30 pm on Wednesday night, information was received that cyber thug Mohammad Saad alias Kala, resident of village Devseras police station Govardhan, carrying a reward of Rs 25,000, was going towards Gatholi Jamunabata bypass with the aim of hiding in some relative.
On this, the joint team of Police Station Govardhan and SOG laid siege. He was arrested in an encounter on the road from Deeg to Mathura at around 10.30 pm. The vicious person has been injured by a bullet in his leg.
