Police Fired Bullets In Mathura, Cyber Thug With Reward Of Rs 25,000 Arrested In Encounter

Jagran correspondent, Mathura. During the joint action of Govardhan Police and SOG team, a cyber thug carrying a reward of Rs 25 thousand was arrested in an encounter. The vicious person has been injured by a bullet in his leg. A pistol, cartridges and an unnumbered bike have been recovered from his possession.

CO Govardhan Anil Kumar said that during checking at 11.30 pm on Wednesday night, information was received that cyber thug Mohammad Saad alias Kala, resident of village Devseras police station Govardhan, carrying a reward of Rs 25,000, was going towards Gatholi Jamunabata bypass with the aim of hiding in some relative.

On this, the joint team of Police Station Govardhan and SOG laid siege. He was arrested in an encounter on the road from Deeg to Mathura at around 10.30 pm. The vicious person has been injured by a bullet in his leg.

The accused was involved in cyber crime for a long time and through fake SIM cards and fake numbers, he calls people in different states of the country and commits cyber fraud by pretending to be an officer or an acquaintance.
