Jammu Police has once again appealed to all the landlords to get their tenants verified.
Jagran correspondent, Jammu. In view of the upcoming Republic Day celebrations, Jammu Police has further tightened the security arrangements. In this series, South Zone Jammu Police has initiated action against the landlords who violate the orders of District Magistrate Jammu.
Police Post Narwal has cracked down on two separate cases for not conducting mandatory police verification of tenants. A case has been registered against these landlords. According to the police, this action has been taken during routine verification and enforcement operations. People against whom case has been registered. They include Shakeela resident of Rajiv Nagar, Narwal and Rohit Kumar resident of Narwal.
Negligence will not be tolerated
According to the police spokesperson, it is important to keep the security arrangements tight before an important national festival like Republic Day. किरायेदारों का सत्यापन न होना सुरक्षा के लिए गंभीर खतरा बन सकता है, इसलिए इस तरह की लापरवाही बर्दाश्त नहीं की जाएगी।
The verification campaign has been intensified not only in Narwal but also in Chhani Himmat and Trikuta Nagar areas. In the last two days, cases have been registered against a total of nine landlords in these areas for not getting their tenants verified. Police say that this campaign will continue in future also.
Jammu Police has once again appealed to all the landlords to get the police verification of their tenants done on time and follow the guidelines of the administration. The police have also appealed to the citizens to remain alert and cooperate in maintaining law and order, so that the Republic Day celebrations can take place in a peaceful and safe environment.
