जागरण संवाददाता, बिजनौर। An extortion money of Rs 5 lakh was demanded by threatening to implicate the husband of the female head of village Pundri Kala in a rape case. The girl was taken hostage and a complaint of rape was made.
Pradhan's husband handed over the audio to the SP and demanded action. Police have registered a case against five people on the complaint of the victim. Among these, one of the accused describes himself as an officer of a Hindu organization.

Sandeep Rathi, son of Vijay Rathi, resident of village Pundri Kala of the police station area, is the Panchayat village head. Sandeep alleges that village resident Salman's cousin Kaif had abducted a teenage girl from Pulwama district of Jammu and Kashmir in June 2025.
Pulwama police recovered the girl and arrested the accused Kaif. Kaif, accused in this case, is lodged in a jail in Kashmir. The girl had returned to the village and is living with Kaif's family. The case against accused Salman for raping a girl resident of the village is pending in the court.
Pradhan's husband alleges that Salman's wife Sonu Malik, who calls herself an advocate, lodged a complaint with a Pulwama resident teenager at Nangalsoti police station recently. The girl alleges that she stayed in Pradhan's husband's house for ten days. During this time he raped her. After the complaint, the police has started investigation.
On the other hand, ten days ago Sandeep Rathi complained to the SP that he was being implicated in the name of rape. Extortion of Rs 5 lakh is being demanded from him. Anshul Rajput's time came on 1st February. Anshul has asked to arrange a decision in favor of Salman and Rs 5 lakh to save himself.
The accused demanded to pay Rs 2 lakh immediately and the remaining Rs 3 lakh later. Apart from this, he called again late at night and threatened to send him to jail. The victim also gave the recording of the threatening conversation to the police. Sandeep Rathi told that there is a case of rape against Salman. He is implicating her for the decision in the case registered against him.
When the CO investigated, it was found that the allegation was false. In the said case, on the complaint of the victim, the police have registered a case of extortion and false charges against female lawyer Sonu Malik, Salman resident of Pundri Kala, Anshul Arya resident of village Shakarpuri police station Kiratpur and Gulshan resident of village Maheshwari police station Kotwali Dehat. CO Najibabad Nitesh Pratap Singh has registered a case. Investigation is being done. The accused is absconding.
Pradhan's husband was helpful in recovering the girl
Sandeep Rathi, who had filed a case of blackmailing and extortion, had helped the Pulwama police. In the month of June, Pulwama police and the girl's relatives stayed at Pradhan's place. During this time, Pradhan's husband had also accompanied the police to recover the girl from Delhi.
During this time, the girl and her relatives stayed at the house of Pulwama police chief's husband for a day. Police say that no evidence has been found of staying for ten days. Now the girl is with the accused. The accused will be arrested and the girl will be recovered.
