Prices Of Citroen Basalt, Aircross And C3 Increased, Now Cars Become Costlier By Rs 20,000

Prices of Citroen cars increased.

Auto Desk, New Delhi. Citroen has increased the prices of its three popular cars Citroen Basalt, Citroen Aircross and Citroen C3 in India. The company has increased the prices of Basalt and Aircross by up to Rs 20,000, while C3 has now become costlier by Rs 15,000. Apart from the prices, no mechanical or feature related changes have been made in all three models.

New prices of Citroen Basalt

Citroen Basalt is now in the price range of Rs 8.15 lakh to Rs 13.35 lakh. The company has directly increased the prices of all its variants by Rs 20,000. The Basalt is sold in You, Plus and Max trims. Dual-tone color option is available in Max trim, for which Rs 21,000 will have to be paid separately.

Basalt is offered with 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol (82hp) and 1.2-litre turbo-petrol (110hp) engine options. Both engines come with a manual gearbox, while the turbo engine also has the option of a 6-speed torque-converter automatic.

The 360-degree camera is available as an accessory in the Max trim, which will be installed at the dealership. Basalt competes with Tata Curvv and is also present as an option in the mid-size SUV segment.

New prices of Citroen Aircross

The new prices of Citroen Aircross now range between Rs 8.49 lakh and Rs 13.94 lakh. The prices of almost all its trims have been increased by Rs 20,000. The Aircross is also available in You, Plus and Max trims. The dual-tone color option in the 7-seater Max trim will cost an additional ₹ 20,000.

The top-spec 7-seater Max Turbo trim includes a 360-degree camera as a standard accessory, which is why its price hike appears to be higher. This camera is not factory-fitted, but will be installed at the dealer level. The Aircross comes pre-installed with a rear parking camera from the factory. Engine and gearbox options remain the same as the Basalt.

New prices of Citroen C3

Citroen C3 is now available at a price range of Rs 4.95 lakh to Rs 9.45 lakh. A 360-degree camera accessory has been included in its top-spec Shine trims, which will be fitted at the dealership. If the cost of this camera accessory is excluded, the actual price of the C3 has increased by Rs 15,000.

There has been no change in the prices of the manual variants of the recently launched Live (O) trim. The C3 also gets the same 1.2-litre petrol and turbo-petrol engine options as the Basalt and Aircross. This hatchback competes with Hyundai Exter, Maruti Suzuki Ignis, Renault Kwid and Tata Punch.
