City's young entrepreneur Shubham Singh finds place in Forbes India
Jagran correspondent, Muzaffarpur. Shubham Singh, a young entrepreneur of the district, has a big achievement in his name. The prestigious Forbes India has ranked him in its January 2026 issue. Shubham, son of Vaishali MP Veena Devi and MLC Dinesh Singh, is redefining modern Indian industrial leadership.
As Chairman and Managing Director of Bharat Urja Distilleries Private Limited, he established the state's first grain-based ethanol plant at Motipur. This plant produces more than 15 crore liters of ethanol every year.
Commissioned in 2023, this zero liquid emissions plant is the foundation of India's E-20 fuel transition. It attracts institutional capital to eastern India and enhances national energy security.
Shubham Singh told that since childhood he had thought of giving a job instead of getting a job. After completing 10th class from Welham Boys School, Dehradun and graduation in Political Science from Delhi University, he studied PG in Public Policy from London. Shubham is only 27 years old. Due to this achievement at a young age, he got a place in Forbes India as one of the successful youth under 30.
