Communication Associate, Medininagar (Palamu). Palamu Police, foiling a major criminal incident, has arrested gangster Prince Khan's shooter Shahrukh Ali.
A country-made pistol and two live cartridges have been recovered from the arrested accused. Shahrukh Ali was planning to open fire at the establishment of gold trader Ranjit Soni in Medininagar.
This conspiracy has been confirmed by Palamu SP Rishma Ramesan. He gave detailed information about the entire matter to the reporters in his office room on Friday.
Arrest during vehicle checking
SP said that during the vehicle checking campaign being run by the police, a youth riding a bike was stopped. Seeing the police, he tried to run away, but the soldiers ran and caught him.
During the search, weapons and bullets were recovered from him. During interrogation, he was identified as Shahrukh Ali, resident of Pahari Mohalla of Medininagar Town police station area.
There was a plan to fire if ransom of Rs 1 crore was not paid
Investigation revealed that gangster Prince Khan had demanded extortion of Rs 1 crore from gold trader Ranjit Soni. A conspiracy was hatched to fire if extortion money was not paid. Earlier on December 25, the police had arrested Prince Khan's two shooters Mohammad Nazim and Murtaza Ansari. After his arrest, Prince Khan contacted Shahrukh Ali.
Conspiracy hatched from Kuwait, nephew Atif also involved
SP Rishma Ramesan told that Shahrukh Ali's nephew Mohammad Atif lives in Kuwait. From there Prince Khan contacted Shahrukh through Atif. On the advice of Atif, Shahrukh had bought the weapon for Rs 30 thousand. Posts related to Prince Khan were also shared by Shahrukh and Atif on social media.
Many important revelations during interrogation
Many important information has been found in the police interrogation. Many police officers including Sub Inspector Tanjilul Mannan Manowar, Neeraj Kumar, Anant Kumar Singh, TOP-1 in-charge Indradev Paswan were involved in this action.
