Protest against UGC bill.

Jagran correspondent, Ghaziabad. People from various organizations demonstrated at the Collectorate on Wednesday in protest against the new rules of the University Grants Commission. During this time, a memorandum addressed to the President was also given to the district administration, in which a demand has been made to withdraw the new rules of UGC.

During this time, some people wore chains around their necks and said that the new rules of UGC are dangerous for the general category students. Work is being done to chain them, which will have a negative impact.

Vishwa Brahmarishi Brahmin Mahasabha President BK Sharma said that an attempt has been made to suppress the general category through the new rules of UGC, this will increase discrimination. It will be difficult for children from ordinary class families to study in college. If the new rules are not withdrawn, it will have a bad impact on the society.

Puneet, metropolitan president of Akhil Bharatiya Tyagi Brahmin Sabha, said that the new rules of UGC will harm the general category students and complaints will be made against the general category students. No rules have been fixed for action if complaints are found false. Therefore it is necessary to amend the new rules of UGC.

The student organization also demonstrated at the Collectorate in protest against the new rule of UGC and termed the new bill as institutional injustice to the general category students. He said that this will create an atmosphere of fear and imbalance within the colleges.
