Jagran correspondent, Barnala. Vande Bharat train running from Firozpur to Delhi will now stop at Barnala also. Union Minister of State for Railways Ravneet Bittu gave this information. Aam Aadmi Party MP from Sangrur Gurmeet Singh Meet Hayer had also made a demand regarding the stoppage of Vande Bharat in Barnala.
In the month of October, Aam Aadmi Party Lok Sabha member from Sangrur Gurmeet Singh Meet Hayer, while meeting Union Minister of State for Railways Ravneet Singh Bittu in New Delhi, had demanded that the new Vande Bharat train running from New Delhi to Firozpur Cantt should be stopped at Barnala also.
He said that the stoppage of this train at Barnala Railway Station will benefit hundreds of nearby villages and towns and they will be able to connect directly to the national capital. Meet Hayer said that the Railway Minister has assured him that considering his demand, stoppage of the train at Barnala railway station will also be ensured. After which it has now been implemented.
