55-year-old Radhakrishna, a resident of Jinhaira village of Mirahachi police station area, had hanged himself on the electric pole outside his house on Wednesday night due to financial crisis. His body was found hanging on Thursday morning. He was mentally broken after the death of his wife one and a half years ago. He used to work as a laborer to support his family, but due to illness he lost his job. The situation became so bad that the stove in the house was not lit for two days.

Radhakrishna's father Lalaram is suffering from paralysis and serious diseases and is unable to get up from bed. There is not even a cot in the house. Lala Ram lying on the bed spread on the ground and his wife Kela Devi sitting in front of the picture of God were seen hoping for help. She does not have money for her husband's treatment.
It was told that during the physical verification of pensioners, Lalaram's old age pension was cut off eight months ago. The verifiers did not even see that he was an actual eligible person for the scheme. This pension was a big support for the family, but not even a single rupee was received for months.
