Digital Desk, New Delhi. Attacks on minorities have increased continuously since the toppling of Sheikh Hasina's government in Bangladesh. A report by the Human Rights Congress for Bangladesh Minorities (HRCBM) has revealed that at least 71 incidents related to blasphemy allegations against Hindu minorities have been reported in Bangladesh from June to December this year.
At least five houses of a Hindu family were set on fire in Dumritala village in Pirojpur district of the Muslim-majority country, in what is being considered a targeted attack on minorities.
