State Bureau, Bhopal. Congress is saying that the trade agreement between America and India is against the farmers and is going to hold a state-wise farmers conference in protest against it. It will start from Bhopal on 24th February. Congress National President Mallikarjun Kharge and Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi will also participate in it. The strategy of the conference was discussed in the party meeting held in Delhi. State presidents of Jammu Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Bihar, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra participated in this meeting.
Conch sound during budget session
According to Madhya Pradesh Congress President Jitu Patwari, his proposal to organize the first farmers' conference in Bhopal has been accepted by the Congress High Command because the budget session is currently going on in Madhya Pradesh. He said that the trade agreement between America and India will also affect the farmers of Madhya Pradesh and their income will be affected. Farmers producing soybean, corn, cotton and fruits will be especially affected by this trade agreement.

Jitu Patwari also told that after Madhya Pradesh, the second farmers conference of Congress will be held in Maharashtra, Yavatmal and the third conference will be held in Sriganganagar.
