Raid on 70 fertilizer shops.
Samvad Sutra, Sultanpur. Four teams formed by the District Magistrate raided 70 fertilizer shops across the district on Tuesday. The investigation team took samples from 14 shops in case of suspected blockage. Licenses of three shops were suspended after irregularities were found.
District Agriculture Officer Sadanand Chaudhary inspected 22 shops in Kadipur and Jaisinghpur. Took samples from four shops. During the inspection, license of Anay Khad Bhandar Khampur and Singh Seed Bhandar Mahmoodpur Semri were suspended for running away after closing their shop on overrating.
Deputy Agriculture Director Ramashray Yadav inspected 15 fertilizer shops in Lambhua. Took a sample from a shop. License of Lakhi Traders suspended over irregularities. Senior Technical Assistant Class Satyendra Kumar inspected 14 shops of Sadar Tehsil.
He took samples from eight shops. Show cause notice issued to Sambhamani & Sons Payagipur after closure of warehouse and variation in DAP stock.
Land Conservation Officer Pyarelal inspected 19 shops in Baldirai tehsil. He took a sample from a shop. Samples were collected and sent to the laboratory for testing.
