Rajan Maharaj tells the story of Shri Ram.-Abhinav Rajan Chaturvedi.
Jagran correspondent, Gorakhpur. Bharat's sacrifice and love for his brother is the highest ideal for human life. Instead of accepting the kingdom of Ayodhya, Bharat asked for the feet of Lord Shri Ram and took an oath to rule the kingdom by installing him on the throne. This was the height of sacrifice. Only one who has true devotion and pure love in his heart can make such a sacrifice.
Narrator Rajan Maharaj said these things. He was narrating the story to the devotees from the pulpit in Shri Ram Katha organized at Champa Devi Park, Planetarium. Throwing light on Bharat's character, he said that Bharat's life gives the message of dedication, faith and sacrifice towards brother. He is the lamp of Ayodhya clan.
While narrating the touching story of Shabari's love and faith, Kathavyas said that Shabari kept waiting for the arrival of Lord Shri Ram for years with unwavering faith in the words of her Guru Matang Rishi. Washing the feet of the Lord with tears flowing from His eyes and offering roots and fruits with love is the highest state of devotion. If the devotee waits and believes with true heart, then God also has to come to him.
