Jagran correspondent, Jaipur. One thousand newly recruited policemen in Rajasthan will be sent to the Police Training Center in Madhya Pradesh for training. There will be a nine-month training program at Tidhra Training Center located in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh.
During this period, policemen will be given training in basic policing, modern crime techniques, cyber security, physical fitness and new criminal laws. Besides, new policemen will also be trained to stop the growing business of illegal smuggling.
Rajasthan government will bear the cost of training
The Rajasthan government will bear the cost of training of about Rs 11.50. State Director General of Police Rajeev Sharma had discussed this matter with Madhya Pradesh police officials last month.
After this discussion, Rajasthan government will send its newly selected policemen to Madhya Pradesh for training. Madhya Pradesh Additional Director General of Police Rajababu Singh will direct the training programme.
