BJP MLA Anand Mishra speaking at a press conference. Awakening
Jagran correspondent, Buxar. Sadar MLA Anand Mishra held a press conference in the Parliament on Tuesday and threw detailed light on the Vikas Bharat-G Ram Ji Bill, 2025 (VB-G RAM G).
During this, he enumerated its features and also took a dig at the opposition, who are opposing it. He said that when Congress changed the name of Jawahar Rojgar Yojana and Rural Housing Scheme, there was no issue and now opposition is being expressed when MNREGA was changed to Vikas Bharat Ji-Ramji.
He said that during the Congress period, every scheme was added in the name of Gandhi whereas the Modi government did not do so. In Modi government, work, not name, speaks.
The MLA said that then the Khel Ratna award was also added to the name of Rajiv Gandhi even though he had no connection whatsoever with sports.
Trouble in the name of Ram
He said that in fact, these people are facing problems due to Ram's name being associated with the scheme. The MLA said that under Vikas Bharat-Ji Ram Ji Yojana, employment will be provided not for 100 days but for 125 days.
The special thing is that work will be closed for 60 days at the time of sowing and harvesting. Payment will be made every week. The biggest thing is that there will be a system of AI based fraud detection whereas during the time of Congress, only scams were taking place in MNREGA.
He said the Bill links wage employment with sustainable rural infrastructure in four priority sectors. There is also a provision for forming a council.
District President Omprakash Bhuvan, Arun Kushwaha, Dhananjay Trigun, Ramesh Gupta, Puneet Singh, Sandhya Pandey, Deepak Pandey, Naveen Rai, Avinash Pandey, Umashankar Rai etc. were present on the occasion.
