Jagran correspondent, Gorakhpur. Ramkewal, resident of Chhitauna village of Khorabar, has been found to have blood relation with Ramsaran's family. After this was confirmed in the DNA test, the court immediately released Ramkewal from jail, finding his arrest and detention in jail illegal. With this, Ramkeval, who was illegally imprisoned for about three months, has now come out.
Ramkewal's name came to light after selling a land in Chhitauna village. Claiming that the real Ramkewal (in whose name the land is owned) was dead, his nephew Ramsaran had filed a case against the buyer, his wife and the land seller Ramkewal under various sections including forgery. The nephew claims that his uncle Ramkeval son of Vipat has died.
In his place, someone else stood up and made the land deal by calling himself Ramkawal. After investigation, the Inspector investigating the FIR had filed the charge sheet on the basis of father's name being second in the Aadhaar card. The case reached trial but Ramkeval did not appear in the court, after which NBW was issued against him.

On September 20, Gagaha police arrested Ramkewal as a warranty and presented him in the court from where he was sent to jail. After Ramkewal was jailed, his sister filed a petition in the High Court, claiming that an FIR had been registered against Ramkishun's son Ramkewal while the police illegally detained Vipat's son Ramkewal in jail due to mistaken identity.
A division bench of Justice JJ Munir and Justice Sanjeev Kumar began hearing the habeas corpus petition of Ramkewal's sister. In this sequence, the court had ordered DNA test. After DNA test of complainant Ramsaran and accused Ramkewal, they were found to have the same blood relation, on the basis of which the allegation of Ramkewal being fake was found to be false.
