Ranchi Ultimatum To Prepare Sirmatoli Connecting Flyover By June, City Will Get Relief From Jam

Jagran correspondent, Ranchi. To reduce the traffic pressure of Ranchi city, the Sirmatoli connecting flyover which is under construction will be ready in the month of June. The Road Construction Department has given an ultimatum to Dineshchandra Agarwal Company, the agency constructing the flyover, to speed up the work.

The department has given clear instructions that the flyover should be opened within the stipulated time frame, so that the city residents can get its benefits. The construction work of Sirmatoli connecting flyover has been completed to a large extent.

According to departmental information, the work of pillars of the flyover has been completed, while the work of super structure is going on at a fast pace. This flyover is in the news due to its special design.

According to officials, its shape will be like a damru, which will distinguish it from other flyovers in the state. The total cost of this ambitious project is about Rs 211 crore. 17 pillars and 44 pilings have been constructed in the construction of this approximately 1.2 kilometer long connecting flyover.

Technically, this project is considered quite complex, as it has been designed to connect the busiest routes of the city.

Ground status and progress of work

If seen on the spot, work is going on day and night at the construction site. After completion of piling and piling work, the slab and other structural parts are now being finalized.

The department claims that by June the structure will be completely ready and the process of trial run will also be started. Overall, the Sirmatoli Connecting Flyover is a vital infrastructure project for Ranchi, which upon completion is expected to change the traffic landscape of the city.

Sirmtoli is the main road. Due to this connecting flyover, the city residents are still not getting the full benefits of the other two flyovers. He said that once the flyover becomes operational, there will be a major improvement in the traffic system and there will be permanent relief from the traffic jams in many parts of the city.

Everyone in the city is waiting for the construction of this Sirmtoli flyover. Due to the construction of Sirmatoli flyover, both Kantatoli-Kokar and Sirmatoli-Doranda flyovers are being affected. People have to take a detour of one kilometer to walk simultaneously on both the flyovers.

Due to the flyover, there is still traffic jam and inconvenience in the area, but after the completion of the construction, the traffic in Sirmatoli, Mekan, Doranda, Chutiya, Kantatoli, Bahubazar, Sujata and surrounding areas will become much easier. Traders and daily travelers are expected to get special relief from this.
