Jagran Correspondent, Dehradun: Record registration has been done in Uttarakhand for Prime Minister Narendra Modi's dialogue program 'Pariksha Pe Charcha-2026'. More than 8 lakh students, parents and teachers from across the state have registered for the program. The state government has made it mandatory for all students above class 6 to watch the programme.
The program will be telecast live simultaneously across the country on February 6 at 10 am. For this, instructions have been issued to ensure live telecast of the program in all government, aided and private schools of the state. A big screen will be installed at a prominent public place in each district, while mass telecast is being arranged at 5 to 6 places in the capital Doon, so that more and more students, teachers and parents can connect with the program.
The program will be telecast on various digital mediums including Doordarshan, PM e-Vidya TV, YouTube, Facebook Live. Apart from this, the program will also be available on radio channels and OTT platforms. In remote areas, where TV or internet facility is not available, arrangements will be made to narrate programs to students through radio or transistor.
All schools have been instructed to ensure that in places where there is no TV, electricity or internet facility, alternative arrangements are made, so that no student is deprived of the Prime Minister's communication. The funds available under Samagra Shiksha can be used for the arrangements related to the program.
State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT) Additional Director Padmendra Saklani said that clear guidelines have been issued to all the districts regarding the program. He said that the program will be widely publicized through promotional videos available from the Ministry of Education. The number of students, schools and institutions watching and listening to the program will be compiled after the program.
