Pakistan approves direct flights on Dhaka-Karachi route (indicative picture)
PTI, Karachi. Pakistan Aviation Authority has given permission to Bangladesh's national airline Biman Airways to start direct flights between Dhaka-Karachi. This approval has been given on trial basis till March 30.
Civil Aviation Authority sources said that all the formalities related to flight schedule and operation will be finalized by next week and the flights will operate under the Civil Aviation Rules of Pakistan. This initiative is expected to promote trade, business, cultural relations and people-to-people contacts.
