Work has started to speed up the construction work. However, construction work on important projects like underpass at Charmurti Chowk in Greater Noida West and bridge over Harnandi river was going on.
Along with construction of new roads in sectors and villages, works like repair of dilapidated roads, construction of drains for water drainage etc. are being done by Greater Noida Authority. According to the project department of the authority, work is going on at more than 100 sites. Now with the removal of grape restrictions, it will gain momentum.
Thousands of people will get relief from road repair
The repair work of the city's main road Surajpur-Kasna is stuck. Due to this, drivers are facing problems. This road, approximately 12 kilometers long, is broken at many places between two parts, from Surajpur Ghantaghar Chowk to LG Chowk and from Sector P-3 to Kasna.
After a long wait, the road repair work had started, but the work had to be stopped due to the imposition of lockdown restrictions. At the same time, repair work of the road is going on from Kasna town till Sirsa roundabout. Work is going on on many projects like reconstruction of the road leading from Junpat Golchakkar to Sector MU, Depot Metro Station of Greater Noida.
Thousands of people will get relief from their construction. Along with sectors, necessary development works are being done in villages also at a cost of crores of rupees. AK Singh, General Manager of the Authority's Project Department, said that the grape restrictions have been lifted. Now construction work has started. Projects will be completed on time. Water sprinkling will continue on the roads. Rules will be followed during work.
