Republic Day Was Celebrated With Enthusiasm At Ridge Ground, Shimla, Governor Took The Salute Of The Parade, CM Was Also Present.

Jagran correspondent, Shimla. Republic Day was celebrated at the Ridge Ground in Shimla, the capital of Himachal Pradesh. The Governor took the salute of the parade by hoisting the national flag. CM Sukhu and Public Works Minister Vikramaditya Singh were present.

The 77th Republic Day celebration was organized with great enthusiasm at the Ridge Ground in Shimla, in which Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla hoisted the national flag, inspected the parade and took the salute of the grand march past. Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu and Public Works Minister Vikramaditya Singh were specially present in the program. During this, tableaux of various departments and cultural programs were organised.

On the occasion of Republic Day, a march past took place at the Ridge Ground under the leadership of Parade Commander Lieutenant Shashwat Tiwari J&K Rifle, in which 25 contingents including Army 1st J&K Rifle, Indo-Tibetan Border Police Contingent, Sashastra Seema Bal, Army Pipe Bend Jutogh, Punjab Police, Himachal Pradesh Police, Himachal Pradesh Home Guard, NSS, NCC took part.

On this occasion, Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla greeted the people of the country and the state on Republic Day and said that Republic Day strengthens the spirit of unity and integrity of India.

On this occasion, Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu, Public Works Minister Vikramaditya Singh and Leader of Opposition Jai Ram Thakur also congratulated on Republic Day and said that the country's own Constitution came into force on 26 January 1950. From then till today, the country has taken a huge leap of development, in which all the people have made an important contribution.
