Jagran correspondent, Darbhanga. A case has come to light of a laborer from Adharpur village of Simri police station area making two fake GST registrations using his PAN card and filing returns worth Rs 76 crore. The victim has lodged an FIR regarding this in the cyber police station.
The victim Satyam Kumar Mishra said that he works as a laborer in a tiles shop in Darbhanga city. Suddenly on 26th November his UPI ID got stopped. When the mobile transaction stopped, I went to the bank and got the information.
The manager told that he has received an email from the Deputy Commissioner (ST) of Tambaram to freeze the account. This action has been taken on this.
When he checked it on the GST portal, he came to know that someone had fraudulently made two GST registrations using his PAN card and filed returns for transactions worth Rs 76 crore in the financial years 2022-2023, 2023-2024 and 2024-2025.
Cyber Police Station Head cum DSP Vipin Bihari said that further action is being taken after registering an FIR.
