Lokesh Yadav shot dead in Bhagwadi Khurd village of Rajasthan.
Jagran correspondent, Narnaul. Youth Lokesh Yadav, resident of Mandi village of Mahendragarh district, was shot dead in Bhagwadi Khurd village of Rajasthan. After the sensational incident, the miscreants spread terror in the entire village and opened fire on two houses and threatened to kill people. While leaving, the accused said, “Right now one murder has happened, if I commit five more, I will get the same punishment.”
This incident created an atmosphere of immense tension and fear in the village. The incident took place in Bhagwadi Khurd village of Kotputli-Behror district, which is located just 12 kilometers from Narnaul city. A family program of well worship was going on here on Monday night. This village is the ancestral village of deceased Lokesh's grandmother.
The deceased Lokesh had come from Mandi along with Devansh, a resident of Mandi village, to attend the well worship program organized on the birth of his uncle Sunil's son. After the program ended at around 9.30 pm, all the family members were sitting at home and talking. Meanwhile, the sound of abusive language was heard from outside.
Hearing the voice, Lokesh and Devansh came out. When I looked outside, Sonu Sharma, resident of Bhagwadi Kalan, and his brother-in-law, Gaurav, resident of Talwana of Neemrana area, were abusing. It is alleged that during this time Sonu Sharma took out the pistol and fired. According to eyewitnesses, both the miscreants had come in a Scorpio car.
Sonu fired a bullet at Lokesh's chest from very close range. The bullet hit him directly in the chest and he fell on the spot. After this the accused fired two more shots. The second bullet hit the wall, while the third shot was fired at the complainant Devansh, who narrowly escaped. After firing three rounds, both the accused fired in the air and fled from the spot with the Scorpio.
The sudden sound of gunshots created chaos at the venue and the atmosphere of joy turned into screams in a moment. Immediately after the incident, relatives took seriously injured Lokesh to the hospital. He died during treatment. During X-ray examination, a bullet was found stuck in his body, which was later removed. In this case, Devansh, resident of Mandi village, has lodged a report in Behror Sadar police station.
Devansh told that both he and Lokesh had come to attend the program. Police have registered a case against the accused Sonu Sharma and Gaurav under serious sections including murder. It is alleged that after the murder, both the miscreants returned to the village late at night. They banged the doors of the houses, opened fire and threatened to kill people and ran away. After this incident, panic spread in the entire area and many families spent the night awake.
Behror DSP Sachin Sharma said that prima facie the matter seems to be related to personal rivalry. The investigation is being done keeping all aspects in mind. Special teams have been formed to arrest the accused and possible hideouts are being raided continuously.
