In Rohit Dhankhar case, Panchayat and family met SP, assured of soon arrest.

Rohit's family members, constituted committee and Panchayat representatives met the SP on Thursday in connection with the brutal murder of international power lifter and six-time national gold medalist Rohit Dhankhar of village Humayunpur. The purpose of this meeting was to review the police action so far in the Rohit Dhankhar murder case, the current situation and the direction of further investigation.
The SP informed the delegation about all the police action taken so far and shared some important facts and legal points, which clearly indicate that in the coming few days, all the remaining accused involved in this murder case will be arrested.
At present, out of 18 to 20 accused, only 5 have been arrested. According to the committee, the SP said that the legal process of declaring the accused who are still absconding as fugitives (PO) and confiscating their properties has been initiated and concrete steps are being taken to quickly take the case to a decisive turn.
During the meeting, the SP assured that no one will be left guilty in the Rohit Dhankhar murder case and all the responsible people will be sent behind the bars as per the law. He also said that the administration is taking this matter very seriously and a concrete conclusion will emerge soon.
After this positive and factual conversation with the police department, the committee formed in the Rohit Dhankhar case expressed satisfaction and expressed the hope that significant progress will be seen in this case within the coming week.
The committee says that it is clear from the current meeting that the investigation is moving in the right direction. Along with this, Panchayat, family members and Gram Panchayat representatives told that soon a detailed meeting will be held with the committee formed on the subject of Rohit Dhankhar, Khap representatives and representatives of Rashtriya Jat Mahasabha.
In this meeting, a strategy for talks with the government will be prepared regarding demands like financial assistance to Rohit Dhankhar's family, permanent government job and sports stadium/academy in the village. In the meeting, mainly Haryana State President of Rashtriya Jat Mahasabha India Ramkishan Pawaria, social worker Advocate Chanchal Nandal, former Humayunpur Sarpanch Sandeep Dhankhar, student leader Deepak Dhankhar, Rohit's uncle Satish Dhankhar, retired Army Subedar Dilbag Singh, Rajkumar Mehra, Rajesh Pandit and other Panchayat and society representatives were present.
After the meeting, the committee and family members clearly said that in the present situation they are satisfied with the process of administration and they have full confidence that Rohtak Police will soon bring this case to its final and just conclusion. Earlier this case was with Bhiwani Police, after placing the demand from Haryana CM and DGP, this case was transferred from Bhiwani to Rohtak.
