Jagran correspondent, Noida. Regarding the ongoing maintenance work and cleanliness arrangements in the city, Chief Executive Officer of Noida Authority, Dr. Lokesh M inspected 45 meter road parallel to Sector-128 Roundabout Expressway, Sector-128 to 150 and Sector-153 Roundabout areas.
In this, the Horticulture Department was directed to complete the construction work of Mysore Clock Tower being built at Sector-128 roundabout in 10 days. Along with this, Work Circle-9 was directed to shorten the roundabout, widen the road and get mastic flooring work done at the intersection.
DGM Civil Vijay Rawal, Horticulture Director Anand Mohan and senior managers of Work Circle area were also present during the inspection along with the CEO. During inspection, it was found that the traffic pressure at Sector-132 roundabout is high during peak hours. Due to this, the concerned officials were directed to prepare and submit an estimate for shortening the roundabout and increasing the width of the road and service lane.
During the inspection, the potholes found on various routes were directed to be filled within 24 hours. The cleanliness system on the road from 135 irrigation drain to village Chhaprauli, Sector-167 was found to be in bad condition. Taking action to stop one month's salary of the cleaning supervisor, clarification has been sought. Besides, instructions have been given to complete the cleaning work and submit the report.
The green belt from village Mohiyapur to Jhatta was found filled with water. Civil, Water and Horticulture departments were directed to do joint inspection and find a solution. The construction work of Mandapam is going on at Sector-153 roundabout by the Horticulture Department. Instructed to take necessary action regarding the works of Mandapam in two months.
