Jagran correspondent, Dhanbad. Railway Time Table: The new time table of Railways will come into effect from January 1, 2026. Under the new time table, many long distance trains have been allowed additional stoppages at various stations. This will provide convenience to passengers and improve connectivity. 12307 Howrah–Jodhpur Express and 12308 Jodhpur–Howrah Express passing through Dhanbad will start stopping at Bandikui station from January 1.

12323 Howrah–Barmer Express and 12324 Barmer–Howrah Express have been given stoppage at Mahendragarh station from January 1. These stoppages are expected to provide relief to passengers traveling between Rajasthan and Eastern India. Apart from this, partial changes have also been made in the time table of the weekly express train running between Jasidih to Vasco da Gama (Jasidih-Vasco da Gama Express). The arrival time of this train has been postponed at nine stations between Bellary and Castle Rock.

This train will now reach 15 to 20 minutes earlier at Bellary, Tarnagallu, Haspet, Koppal, Gadag, Hubli, Dharwad, Londa and Castle Rock stations. Railways says that this will improve punctuality on the route and operations will be more smooth. Under the new time table, there is a possibility of partial change in the timings of other trains passing through Dhanbad. However, the timing change of trains related to Dhanbad has not been officially announced yet.

According to railway officials, passengers will be informed about the updated timings after the final list is released. Railways has appealed to the passengers to check their train timings through NTES, IRCTC website or 139 helpline before traveling after January 1, so that any kind of inconvenience can be avoided.
