AAP sarpanch Gurbarinder Singh alias Happy was shot dead by bike-riding shooters during a wedding ceremony at Sidhu Farm in village Seron of Tarn Taran district on Wednesday during a wedding ceremony. One of his cousins ​​was also injured in this attack.

According to the information, the marriage ceremony of Gursevak Singh, son of farmer Seva Singh, resident of village Thathiyan Mahantan, located on Jammu-Kashmir-Rajasthan National Highway, was organized at Sidhu Farm. After the ceremony of Anand Karaj, the guests were playing Bhangra on DJ and the atmosphere was completely celebratory. Meanwhile, Amritdhari Sarpanch Gurbarinder Singh was sitting and eating food with his relatives.

Parked the bike outside the palace and went straight inside.

According to eyewitnesses, suddenly two youths riding bikes arrived outside the palace. He parked the bike outside and entered straight away. Within a few moments, he opened fire on Sarpanch Happy from behind. As soon as the bullet was fired, there was chaos in the ceremony. His cousin was also injured in the attack.

Both were immediately taken to a private hospital, where doctors declared Gurbarinder Singh brought dead. As soon as information about the incident was received, DSP Jagbir Singh, Kamaljit Singh Aulakh and CIA staff in-charge Prabhjit Singh reached the spot with heavy police force. The police have surrounded the palace and started investigation and the footage of CCTV cameras installed nearby is being scrutinized.

Preliminary investigation has revealed that the incident may be related to gangster activities or possible extortion. However, police officials say that a thorough investigation is being conducted keeping all the aspects in mind.
