Initially my reaction was that it was a small role, but I was very excited to work with Aditya because he is one of my favorite directors. Aditya told me that I have not done anything like this before.

Tandon also told that she respects Akshaye Khanna and his excellent work. He said, 'People do not understand the difference between a male-dominated film and misogyny. These are two very different things. Misogyny is when women are looked down upon and this film does not do that. Yes, men have a major role in the film, but women are treated with respect. Imagine there is a man in Lyari whom everyone is afraid of and his wife slaps him in the hospital in front of everyone. Still he doesn't say anything'.

I slapped her but after that I felt very bad but I did it.

Made under the direction of Aditya Dhar, this film was released on December 5 and after receiving positive reviews from netizens and industry people, it has earned around Rs 350 crore at the box office, while its worldwide earning has reached above Rs 500 crore.
