Timul President expressed fear of scam
Jagran correspondent, Muzaffarpur. President of Tirhut Milk Producers Cooperative Union Limited (TIMUL) Ram Sanjeevan Prasad Yadav has expressed apprehension of a big scam in Muzaffarpur Dairy. The supply of additional milk to various distributors in the name of adjustment has been termed as a scam and has been requested to be investigated.
He has sent a letter with evidence in this regard to the Managing Director of COMFED. The Chairman's raising of such apprehensions has created a stir. However, Timul's Managing Director has denied any wrongdoing.
In the letter sent by COMFED, the Chairman said that thousands of liters of milk was supplied to individual distributors through gate pass from Muzaffarpur Dairy. This supply has been shown in the name of adjustment in the gate pass receipt. g
The sad thing is that the adjustment for June 2025 has been shown in December. On December 31, 2025 alone, more than 34 thousand liters of milk has been sent in the name of adjustment. Some adjustments have also been made in January this year. When asked in this regard, no information was given by the Managing Director citing it as an administrative matter.
The Chairman said that if there is a provision to supply milk to the distributors as an adjustment, then they should be informed about it to the Managing Director. It should also be stated whether the amount has been received from the distributors. The additional milk supplied in the name of adjustment along with the letter sent to COMFED includes distributors from many districts of Tirhut division.
