Samvad Sutra, Salempur. Due to the negligence of the driver, the wheel ran over both the legs of an eight-year-old student who was getting off the school bus on Monday afternoon. Due to which she was seriously injured.
After the accident, the driver fled from the spot leaving the bus full of students on the road. After this there was a situation of chaos. Police arrived on information and took the injured student to the hospital. After treatment, the student has been referred to Gorakhpur.
The bus of St. Mother Teresa School, located near Kataiveer Baba, adjacent to the suburb, had left with the students to drop them home after noon break. Anshika, eight year old daughter of Rambadan, resident of Barsipar Chhawni Tola and LKG student, was traveling in the same bus. The bus reached the village to drop him home at around three in the afternoon.
According to eyewitnesses, Anshika was just getting off the bus when the driver carelessly pushed the bus forward. Due to which the rear wheel of the bus ran over both his legs. The student became unconscious. There was hue and cry on the spot after the accident.

As soon as the information was received, the police arrived and pacified the angry villagers. The injured student was immediately taken to the Community Health Center, where after first aid, the doctors referred her to the Medical College, Deoria, seeing her condition as serious.
Police is investigating the case and searching for the driver. School manager Girjesh Mishra said that the student has suffered injuries on her legs. He has been brought to Gorakhpur for treatment. His condition is improving.
