The temperature is continuously falling in many states of India including UP and Delhi and due to the cold wave, school holidays in many states have been extended. Along with this, due to Magh Mela and Mauni Amavasya, crowd of devotees can be seen in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh. Therefore, Prayagraj administration has announced holidays till January 20 for government and private school students of classes 1 to 8. Let us tell you, during the holidays, studies for the students of classes 1 to 8 will be conducted in online medium.
Holidays in Chandigarh also
In Chandigarh too, schools have been closed due to severe cold and fog. As per the orders of UT Education Department, all government and private schools in Chandigarh will remain closed till January 17. Also, January 18 is Sunday. Therefore, schools will restart in Chandigarh from January 19. In such a situation, all parents are advised to check the notice of the district administration or school once.
Schools will remain closed till this day in Tamil Nadu
In Tamil Nadu too, schools will remain closed till January 17 due to cold and Pongal. Along with this, students or parents can contact the school for updates related to holidays.
Holidays increased in 6 districts of UP
Even after Makar Sankranti, cold and strong winds still continue in UP. In such a situation, schools for students of classes 1 to 8 in UP's Badaun, Muzaffarnagar, Saharanpur, Pilibhit, Bijnor, Bareilly will remain closed till January 18. Let us tell you, in these six states of UP, orders were given to close schools till January 17. But 18th January is Sunday. Therefore, now schools in these six states of UP will remain closed till January 18.
