Scooty rider dies in collision with roadways bus, case registered.
Jagran correspondent, Jalandhar. A youth riding a scooter died in a collision with a roadways bus in Jalandhar. The bus driver fled from the spot. This accident happened on January 28, after which the police of Baradari police station have registered a case and started investigation.
The deceased has been identified as Sanjeev Singh, resident of Gulmarg Avenue. In the complaint, Rajinder Singh, resident of Mukerian, Hoshiarpur, told that his brother-in-law Sanjeev Singh was going on his Activa.
Meanwhile, Malerkotla resident Sandeep Singh, who was driving his roadways bus at high speed and carelessly, hit the Activa. The accident was so severe that Sanjeev Singh fell on the road as soon as the collision occurred and was seriously injured.
He was immediately taken to the hospital, where doctors declared him dead. Meanwhile, the bus driver Sandeep Singh absconded after the accident, a case has been registered against him and search is on.
As soon as information about the incident was received, the police reached the spot and took the body into custody and sent it for post-mortem. ASI Balwinder Singh, who is investigating the case, said that a case has been registered against the accused bus driver under relevant sections.
