After this, a similar incident happened with Samantha Ruth Prabhu, after which many questions were raised regarding the safety of actors in public places.

Now actress Chitrangada Singh, who was seen in Khaki The Bengal Chapter, Housefull 5 and Raat Akeli Hai: The Bansal Murders etc. has also agreed in this matter. Chitrangada said, "During some events, the crowd can really go out of control because crowd control is very important. I was watching the scene that happened with Nidhi. It was very scary. Maybe the agencies managing these events have a duty to ensure their safety. I don't understand how they can keep her at that place. How can they let her go, how can this happen to her?"

Chitrangada also recalled the moment when the same thing happened to her during a Dahi Handi event. Chitrangada said that I was in my car when suddenly some people came and started hitting her car hard. Chitrangada said that I was very scared at that time.
A similar incident has happened with John too.
However, Chitrangada clarified that this does not happen only with female actresses, this has happened with many male actors also. He said, 'John Abraham and I had gone to a college in Delhi for the promotion of our film 'I, Me Aur Main'. We had to go on stage and leave from there. The crowd started increasing and suddenly I saw that everyone was moving towards John. John turned to me and motioned for me to take him with me. He wanted to take me safely to the car. As soon as we got in the car, John took off his shirt, there were bruises all over his back. Nothing happened to me because there were many women present in that college.
