After the disappearance of both the children, their mother's condition remains very bad. She is continuously crying and pleading to bring back the children. According to family members, due to shock, she is becoming unconscious again and again, due to which there is an atmosphere of anxiety in the entire locality. After getting information about the incident, SSP Rakesh Ranjan reached the locality and met the people and got information about the entire incident. The SSP directed the concerned officers to expedite the investigation and work seriously on every possible aspect.

Police believe that the children might have been kidnapped through a vehicle. For this reason, they are not visible anywhere in the CCTV cameras installed nearby. The police are also investigating whether there was any dispute with the children's family due to which the children were kidnapped. Many suspects and people who were previously tainted in the case are being detained and interrogated.

Police suspect that the children may have been sold somewhere. Along with this, the police is also investigating the role of the children's acquaintances. It is feared that if someone known had taken the children, that is why the children would not have protested in any way.
