The sudden disappearance of a mentally weak seven-year-old girl who was playing outside the house in Shamsabad police station area on Tuesday created panic in the entire area. As soon as the information was received, there was panic in the police department. The police immediately registered a missing case and started searching for the girl.
7 year old mentally weak girl missing in Shamshabad
The missing girl has been identified as Anu, 7 year old daughter of Satya Prakash Sharma, resident of village Garhi police station. The relative told the police that Anu was playing outside the house, after which she suddenly disappeared. Local people and relatives searched at their level, but no trace of the girl could be found. Police were informed about the incident late at night.
ACP Girish Kumar also arrived and the police registered a missing person and started searching. It is being told that Anu is mentally weak, due to which the concern regarding her safety and search has increased further.
DCP took charge, dog squad arrived
Seeing the seriousness of the incident, DCP East Abhishek Aggarwal himself reached the spot and took stock of the situation. Several teams have been formed to immediately search for the girl. These teams have started intensive combing operations in the fields, bushes and pond banks around the village. Late in the night, the dog squad team also reached the spot and tried to collect clues from the last known location of the girl.
Police are also taking the help of social media to share the photo and details of missing Anu, so that any information can be received even from remote areas. The police have appealed to the local residents that if they get any information regarding the girl, they should immediately inform the police station. Till late night there was no trace of the girl. DCP East Abhishek Aggarwal said that the search is on for the girl. Nearby CCTVs are being checked.
