In the final of the women's category played under the four-day Shershah Suri Football Competition organized under the aegis of Shershah Suri Jankalyan Sansthan, Uttar Pradesh XI defeated Jharkhand XI 1-0 and won the title. In this match played in a packed field amidst the applause and enthusiasm of the spectators, both the teams showed strength and maintained the excitement till the end.
Both teams adopted an aggressive stance from the beginning of the match. There was a tough fight between the players of UP and Jharkhand regarding ball control and passing.
In the first half, Jharkhand team challenged UP's defense several times, but UP's strong defense foiled every attack. At the same time, the UP team also tried to score a goal through a fast counter attack, but due to the alertness of the Jharkhand goalkeeper, the first half ended in a goalless draw.
The tone of the match completely changed in the second half. UP XI attacked continuously while increasing the pace of the game. The effect of better coordination and accurate passing was visible among the team players.
In this sequence, during a quick move, the UP team scored the decisive goal, which created a wave of enthusiasm among the spectators present in the field. After the goal, Jharkhand team tried its best to equalize, but could not score the goal in time and ultimately the match went in favor of UP.

The women's football final was inaugurated under the chairmanship of Dr. Manoj Kumar Yadav, chairman of the organizing committee. Chief guest Minority Minister Jama Khan, Executive Officer Rani Kumari, Nagar Panchayat Chairman Kiran Devi and Police Station Head Shambhu Bhagat jointly inaugurated the match by cutting the ribbon.
On this occasion, Minister Jama Khan, while encouraging the players, announced that this sports ground will be developed as a stadium in the future, which is expected to give a new dimension to the sports activities in the area.
Chairman of the organizing committee, Dr. Manoj Kumar Yadav said that such sports events not only provide a platform to the youth but also develop positive thinking towards sports in the society. Praising the enthusiasm and dedication of the women players, he said that women's football is progressing rapidly and such events play an important role in its development.
The match was successfully officiated by experienced referee Pappu Kumar Singh. In making the event successful, Prof. A large number of sports lovers and volunteers including Rameshchand Srivastava, Engineer Nitesh Upadhyay, Advocate Ramlakhan Pal, Dr. Sunil Singh Yadav, Ramshish Singh, Samsuddin, Rizwan Khan, Pankaj Singh, Ramjit Gond had a commendable contribution.
