Jagran correspondent, Siddharthnagar. A young man died under suspicious circumstances. The deceased has been identified as Shahid Khan, who is said to be a resident of Parsa Mahapatra village of Uska police station area.
He was found in a seriously injured condition around 8 pm on Wednesday night. With the help of local people, he was taken to Medical College Siddharthnagar for treatment, where he died during treatment.
The circumstances under which the young man got injured are not yet clearly known. People present at the spot said that the young man was groaning in pain, but he was not in a position to say anything. Initially he could not even be identified, but later he was identified through his relatives.
On receiving information about the incident, CO Sadar Vishwajit Sauryan and Sadar police station in-charge Durga Prasad reached the spot with the police team and started investigation. The deceased's relatives have also said that the youth died due to assault.

However, police say that the situation will become clear after investigation. Additional Superintendent of Police Prashant Kumar Prasad said that the reasons for the injuries sustained by the youth are being investigated. Prima facie the case appears to be a road accident, however all aspects are being seriously investigated.
