Anticipatory bail application of seven accused in land fraud against singer rejected.

Jagran correspondent, Ghaziabad. The court rejected the anticipatory bail application of seven accused of fraudulently taking lakhs of rupees from a singer and assaulting him for demanding money. According to the information received from the court, the plaintiff in the case, Manoj Verma, gave a complaint to the Bhojpur police on October 5 last year and said that he needed land for a studio.

He came in contact with the accused through property dealers. The accused took Rs 51.50 lakh from him for 4090 yards of land, but later reneged. When he asked for money, he gave some money, but refused to give the rest. On September 18 last year, the accused attacked him and his friend. Both of them somehow escaped from the spot to save their lives.

ADJ-6 Judge Arvind Mishra, after hearing both the sides, rejected the anticipatory bail application of Ashok Kumar, Jagdev, Jagveer, Ranveer, Virendra, Praveen Kumar and Kajal, residents of Raghunathpur Kilhoda, Bhojpur.

Anticipatory bail of assault accused rejected

The court rejected the anticipatory bail application of three accused in a case of assault in Vijayanagar police station area. According to the information received from the court, Bharti's husband Inder, resident of Madhepura, was attacked by Ishwar and his sons Vikas and Manoj on August 29 last year. Inder was beaten badly. He had 40 stitches in his head during treatment.

On the application of the woman, a case was registered at Vijayanagar police station on the orders of the court. In this case, all three accused had applied for anticipatory bail in the court. After hearing both the sides, ADJ-7 Judge Dr. Dinesh Chandra Shukla rejected the application of the three accused.
