SIR In UP: Deceased, Shifted And Absent Voters Will Be Investigated Once Again, New Update Regarding SIR

State Bureau, Lucknow. Chief Electoral Officer Navdeep Rinwa reviewed the work of collection and digitalization of counting forms on Friday. Told the District Election Officers to thoroughly investigate all the voters who have been identified as absent, deceased, duplicate, shifted, untraced by the BLO. Take full cooperation of BLA in this work also.

He said that mapping of all the voters whose names are in the voter list of the year 2003 should be done. There is no scope for any kind of error in the work of Special Intensive Review (SIR). For this, a coordination meeting of each BLO with the BLA of his booth should be organized. Keep the entire database related to the SIR process completely safe and secure.

Rinwa has told that under SIR, till now 99.91 percent work of distribution of census forms and 91.98 percent work of digitization has been completed in the state. Auraiya, Azamgarh and Etah districts have completed 100 percent work. So far, 100 percent work has been completed in 27 assembly constituencies. With this, digitization work has been completed by 81,828 BLOs.

The last date for the counting phase under SIR is December 11. During this period, the names of all the voters who have filled their enumeration form and handed it over to the BLO will be included in the voter list to be published on 16th December.
