Crowd gathered in the block after receiving notice for errors in SIR.
Dialogue thread, Bhaluani. On Tuesday, a huge crowd gathered at the Gandhi Auditorium of the block for the correction of errors in the SIR form. People receiving notices started arriving in the block since morning due to mistakes in name, address and other details in the form. The apprehension of name being struck off and the worry of replying to the notice were clearly visible among the people. People appeared quite restless with this situation.
The tehsil administration had set up two separate counters for people from rural and urban areas. Despite this, there were long queues at both the counters throughout the day and there was a bustling atmosphere in the block premises.
People were seen pleading with the officials to solve the problem with their documents. Naib Tehsildar Ravindra Maurya was present on the spot. He along with other concerned officials listened to the problems of the people and got them resolved.

In many cases the errors were rectified on the spot, while in some cases instructions were given to submit the necessary documents. Whatever may be the reason for the negligence of the villagers or the lapse at the administrative level, the common people are having to bear the brunt of it.
People who reached the block said that they were mentally disturbed after receiving the notice due to a minor mistake. The administration has appealed to the people not to panic and get their problems resolved by contacting the concerned counter with the necessary documents.
